Does anyone find themselves in denial with this whole thing?

I often find myself thinking that everyone else feels the way i do and its not really a big deal

i think... i'm not sick and everything is fine...

...just wondering...

I used to for a little bit until the stabbing pains all over...that takes me right out of denial. [Wink]

I feel the exact opposite.

I think the majority of people in the country/world are in denial and we here on Lymenet, are the only one's who realize how serious these Tick Borne Illness' are!

No denial here either. After five years of specialist after specialist, I think it was more a RELIEF to find out what was making me sicker day by day.

On the other hand, I really believe it depends on how sick you got before diagnosis.

I know my daughters who felt for the most part they were fine, but being the "paranoid mother" that just saw such TINY signs.....well, when THEY tested positive....THAT was denial.

I do understand though, when we get very sick, we go through so many emotions. Denial, anger, desperation....it all keeps going.

Hang in there. No two people respond the same and no emotion is "wrong".

I think I used to sit in a room full of people and wonder....

How many of them are suffering from what have and don't know it. [shake]

I also feel obligated to share this knowledge with anyone I can.

No denial here. Acceptance and education.

Hugs,

Geneal
