Ok so being new to this whole thing I have LOTS of questions Sorry!
I was wondering....
Does anyone get that motion/car sickness feeling just from doing something as simple as being on the computer or reading???
I know its not my eyes because I just went to an Opthamologist and got a greta report... Thinking its part of Lyme maybe?

Yes.
I am lightheaded alot and this comes with nausea. The computer can make it worse moving around (like walking around in the house) can make it worse...
this usually gets worse when i herx.
You are not alone. I hope it subsides for you soon.

I had this problem, but for me it did turn out to be my eyes
I was diagnosed with having a Convergence disorder where the eyes are not working together properly - apparently pretty common in Lyme according to the opthomologist who diagnosed me
Anyway, I had vision therapy for a while and it is 99% better
Good luck - it's a horrible sensation!

Oh yeah, I get that too.
My motion sickness in the car is getting worse too--I even get it now when I drive!
And I can't play computer games with my son because the motion on the screen makes me sick.
It's just the feeling of being unsteady and sort of like I'm about to go into vertigo, and if it gets bad enough I feel like I'm going to puke. Posted by sandiet (Member # 15916) on :
Yes, I do. I get motion sickness watching TV, walking, turning corners and sometimes just laying still.
Since treating my Lyme, it is getting better, but not gone yet. Sandie

Please don't take this the wrong way but I am happy that I am not alone... I don't mean that I am happy any of you have Lyme.
I just finally feel validated after all these years of complaining about not feeling good and everyone kids of looking at me like I was faking!
Its to a point now that I just suffer alone and don't tell anyone because I know they'll just think "There she goes again!"
Thank you all for responding to me, and being supprtive and informative, this site and all of you have been such a HUGE help in my so helpless situation! Posted by sandiet (Member # 15916) on :
Erika, I think we all have been there, I have finally come to the point that I dont care what people think any more, I know the truth and so does God.
None of us are faking our illness, most people just dont get it. Hang in there, Sandie

Nausea can be babesia, too.....maybe consider that as a possibility, even in the absence of positive tests.

I get that feeling sometime too.
As a kid car sickness was something I remember with great details. Everyone getting mad at me on trips, plus, I was the only kid who hated amusement parks because the rides and the heat made me sick.
I was the vomitter......not because I wanted to be. But, now, I know that is part of Lyme. I get car sickness if I don't drive. I get it from scrolling to fast on the computer...I actually have it now because I am in my herx cycle again.......

My "motion" sickness has been terrible the past ffew days. I had one morning where I got up and was just "caarsick" the whole day.
It wasn't that I was nauseated or even had vertigo, it was just a vague sense of feeling unwell, but if I moved wrong or too fast, then I thought I'd puke.
I've been fighting it somewhat with Benadryl. It doesn't totally cure it, but it takes the worst of it away.

Sorry to hear this. And, yes, its fairly common with lyme. Are you getting treatment with a LLMD?
