I didn't know a person could feel this tired; like I've been repeatedly slammed against a wall.

I have been caring for my daughter around the clock for the last 15 months. She is totally bedridden and requires around the clock help, physically and mentally.

I have been so strong, while treating my Lyme as well, but the last few months I have been getting more and more tired.

I spent Sunday in bed all day while my hubby tended to her.

LLMD says my adrenal are shot, my hormones out of whack. We are working on them.

In the meantime, all of a sudden, I feel like I can't do it anymore. Of course I will, but I feel very trapped in my life right now. I keep fantasizing about just not waking up tomorrow.

Wellness for my girl seems so far away. She needs a strong mom.

My own life has been a 28 year battle with severe back pain that was brought on by a little tick and passed on to my child.

I'm sad and tired. Life looks very dismal.

Thanks for listening.

You need scheduled days off, no matter how you have to do it. This way you have something to look forward to and will allow you to pace your energy until the next rest time.

You're lucky to be able to care for loved one, but you have to keep a little for yourself or you will be no good to anyone.

janis, excellent suggestion to 4 seasons!

it's like the same comment; that we have to PAY OURSELVES FIRST by savings $$, then paying all the bills first, and then whatever is left over can be saved.

do you have more family/friends/church friends that could give you RESPITE too?

is your daughter 20 something then?

may god send you angels to help you out so you get a life back! [group hug] [kiss]

Hey 4,

May I suggest going to an endocrinologist. I went to one last year and my HGH levels were checked and found to be way too low.

My main symptoms were no energy and sleep disturbances.

Now that I'm taking HGH injections my energy level is getting better after 6 months.

Hang in there!

I am so sorry that you aren't feeling well.

It is so easy to become overwhelmed especially when you are ill

And caring for someone else that is too.

I wish I could come help you.

I am sending Angels to you and your daughter and prayers

For better days for both of you.

Please take some time to just "catch your breath".

Even if it is just a long bath by yourself.

I often feel overwhelmed.

I have had a lot on my plate lately.

I get mad at everybody and everything.

Want to pull my hair out.

Imagine "them" coming to get me and put me in a straight jacket.

I find comfort here and with prayer.

The tide will turn and things will get better.

We can get there together.

Hugs,

Geneal

I think when we have Lyme, we figure out pretty quickly what is necessary and what is not.

Caring for yourself and your daughter can be rapidly overwhelming.

I wish there was something I could do for you, but we are worlds apart.

Not too far apart for prayer though.

Have you checked to see if there is a Lyme support group in your area?

If you don't have a home church, please go to the nearest church, explain your situation, and ask if anyone there knows how you can get some relief.

Also try contacting a visiting nurse's association. I know they are fee based, but perhaps they know of another service who can help you.

Salvation Army may have some answer also. Ask anyone you can think of. If that seems too overwhelming, call one place each day till you get some help.

I will keep you in prayer for guidance. I know that there is an answer to each of our situations. I will pray that God will bring the answer to you quickly.
