I remember I had acute lymphagitis(sp)aka blood poisoning from a bite when I was younger.

Actually, twice.

Does anybody or has anybody had this happen?

Why don't you post this in Medical where you will get more chance of responses?

I've never heard of what you mentioned, but it sounds very suspicious.
