I wish everyone could hear it. Especially my old doctors.
Thanks Pam, great job.

I think it is great that it got on NPR but to be brutally honest the reporting and moderating by Diane Rehm was a mess. I listen to her often and I think she is great but I am not sure if she was not prepared or blindsided the complexity of this disease.
She had no introduction to the discussion, no background on the controversy, no explanation of what acute and chronic lyme is, no explanation of the two groups (IDSA & ILADS), no numbers on how many people are sick. She cut everyone off before they could finish there though. I think any listeners who is not sick with Lyme or not familiar with the whole controversy would have been completely lost by the interview.
That is what I was hoping to paint a clear picture to those who are not sick with Lyme what chronic Lyme is all about.
That said, any possibility of pushing the chronic lyme view point to the public is good and this interview was definitely more sided on the chronic Lyme. Dr. Shor and Pam made great points.
