I've got a PICC for rocephin and I also inject B12 in my muscle. I was wondering if I could just screw the syringe onto the picc and just put the B12 in that way. I'm thinking it doesnt make a difference. Does anyone know?

Check with your doctor. The B12 you have now was specifically compounded to be used for IM injections. I'm not sure if it would be safe to inject as is into your PICC line.

I do B12 through a PICC, the IM injections last longer and that is why they are preferred over IV.
