I have Lyme arthritis in most joints, but lately, both my hands are painful. Bending the fingers is painful.
Does anyone know of a cream I could use that would help the pain in hands?
I do take Advil but try not to take too much. Doesn't help as I'd hoped.
I am looking for a cream...I have glucosamine cream that doesn't do too well and I use Capzasin HP on knees/ankles that helps, but I don't use it on my hands because I'm afraid I'll touch my face, eye, which would burn.
Anyone know of any creams to use for hands that help pain?
Thanks,
lifeline

My doc just gave me Voltaren (sp?) gel for my arthritis. Its a prescription, but works WONDERS! I use it on back, hand anckle, knees you name it!
I can't take IB due to ulcer so this was next best thing. Its great. Talk to you doc about it. Its new, so they are giving free samples. Thats how I got mine at least

Thanks to all for the help. I just went to my family doctor and while there asked her about creams.
She gave me some samples of the Voltaren gel, and I just finished using some. Hopefully, it will help ease the pain.
