I need some data on how many of you won your employer paid LTD benefits on the first appeal?

Meaning after you were first denied and you appealed the decision.

Or did your case acually have to go to a judge. How long did that take?

Please answer my questions as I have a lawyer telling me it's 50/50 - not sure if I trust him.
