Just got a call from llmd's office that there was a cancellation for tomorrow morning. On my way to Conneticut with my daughter and hope that we find some answers for her ongoing and growing issues.
I am rushing to get everthing together to bring. She does not travel well and I anticipate some stress.
Any tips, reminders, thoughts on what I need to have ready? Have medical records ready, current symptom list, chronolgy of issues...
If not, sending some postive thoughts our way will be great.
Thanks!

A notepad is very helpful to write down everything
A tape recorder would also be handy if your memory is bad and they are willing to let your record.

So glad she is going to be seen soon.
All the best to you and your daughter.
I'd say...Listen closely to what her LLMD says, take notes and ask alot of questions.

Thank you for the tips and good thoughts. Will go read the thread now before I try to sleep.
Need to be on the road at 4:00. That alone will not help my own lyme brain.
On one hand I am in tears because I do not want my daughter to have lyme disease. On the other hand, I know that there may be hope to end the suffering she has been dealing with.
Thank you so much.

So we made it. As I had heard, the llmd was the most amazing and lovely person. My daughter said last night, "I like that Dr. mommy. I think he is going to help me."
She had lots of blood drawn for tests. No recommendation until the results are back in about 3 weeks. So, some more waiting, but there must be a reason.
I am so glad that I put my big girl pants on and said we could make it when I got the last minute call of the cancellation.
