I thought that he said some very interesting things that are not widely known, such as:
--Children who are treated with antibiotics for 2 months after all symptoms of tick-borne diseases are gone and the child feels that it is all gone DON'T relapse. They can get bitten again, but they don't relapse.
--To get lyme in the first place, the person has to have had "pheromones that attract ticks" and that people are born with pheromones that attract ticks.
I have come to the conclusion that there is something about me that attracts not only ticks but also mosquitos. This is the first time I have heard a lyme doc support my conclusion.
I found this very interesting. These statements are made about 1/3 of the way into the interview if you want to jump right to them.

TF, thanks very much for your comments. I just wanted to clarify what Dr Jones said about children and relapse. He says they can relapse, but it is not as bad as the first time, and that's because they can detect it much earlier and get treatment.
There is definitely some support for your conclusion about being attractive to ticks. In my interviews with Lyme docs, at least three of them talk about the notion that there might be something in a persons' blood, or pheromones, perhaps, that attracts ticks. It's very interesting.
Ginger Saveley, RN, who has treated about a thousand patients with Lyme and tick-borne related diseases in her San Francisco clinic, talked about how she sees many family members who are all infected. Ginger concludes that this can mean that they all hang out in the same tick-rich environment, such as the family farm, but it may also indicate that they share a pheromone or something that makes them vulnerable to tick bites.

Hey earth, I listed to what Dr. Jones said over and over. And, I wrote down his exact words.
So, what I said he said regarding "children don't relapse" are his exact words.
Have you listened to the tape?
It's easy to prove what he said that way.

I love Dr. J and thank God for finding this place so I could find him.
He's only been undergoing treatment with Dr. J since May, and already I see lots of improvement. His gastro issues have lessened considerably, he doesn't vomit daily anymore. Since treament, he's put on 5lbs and grew 2"....
And my biggest concern, his visual disturbances (blurriness, black outs and hallucinations)have been gone for over a month now.
For the first time in almost 3 years, I truly believe my son will be ok.

Compared to those on the panel who have seen what??
Whatever it is it is nothing compared to what our lyme docs see and treat.

Ah yes...the length of time that a tick needs to be attached.
I don't recall his words on this but my thought has always been why are they putting so much importance to this...doesn't make sense to me.
I had my mechanic tell me it had to be on for 2 days.
I told him I felt differently about that and many of us never see what bit us.
