I've run out of energy. I've used it all up. That's it. I have no reserves left. Lyme is winning. Now what?

Once the mandatory, everyday expenses are paid there is nothing left. I frequently rob Peter to pay Paul.

I have many health problems & see doctors who take my insurance, but I can NOT afford an LLMD's rates.

I have a child with mental health issues who refuses to deal with the real world & wants me to fix things.

I look in the mirror & see no sign of the capable, positive person I used to be, just her tired shell.

I've tied a knot in the end of the rope so many times there isn't any rope left.

I'm just so tired & sad all the time, I don't feel like I have anything to look forward to anymore.

I'd NEVER do anything stupid so don't worry about that but I'd really like to go to sleep & not wake up.

It's only been 16 months, I can't imagine how people have dealt with this for years & years.

I don't see anything changing in the forseeable future, so now what?

Geri

I will pray for you....

that you find the strength you need to go on...

that you are able to get proper treatment....

that you will find the encouragement you need....

that you find all the resources you need....

that the ILADS guidelines are universally accepted and Dr's become lyme literate so that all people will get proper treatment....

that your child with mental health problems will learn to deal with all his/her issues.

Hi - I still think it's a matter of trying stuff to see if anything will help.

When I didn't know I had Lyme, and thought I had this unknown fibromyalgia confition, we were all throwing malic acid and mg at our bods - in the form of SuperMalic, I think - and that helped restore energy.

Also, flower pollen was extraordinary for restoring energy. Must be a lot of good things in it.

Hi,Well for some reason you cant just hold your breath untill you kick the bucket, been there tried that.

So we just got to go on and on and on and on,with this bear of a disease.

Have had some real good times in the 25 years I have had lyme, along with the really bad times.

I just wish i didn't have the interstitial cystitis, because then i could limp in to a job again.

Hey Don ,Do they have Hi Lift bumper bolts in Nebraska???

Sending you prayers to help you hold on.

It is hard to imagine ever feeling better.

I haven't posted about it yet, but have been off antibiotics for about 3 months now.

That is after 29 months of treatment for Lyme, bartonella and babesia.

Doing okay. Not bad in fact.

Some lingering issues at times, but nothing that keeps me from going.

I have laughter, love and am working full time again.

I've had my children to push me through.

Keep me going so to speak.

I had to take care of them.

I pray this gives you some hope.

I have plenty to share.

Yes, I may have one more antibiotic run in a couple of months

For some lingering bartonella issues.

I don't dread it though.

Sending you some hope for better days and prayers to get you there.

Hugs,

Geneal

Gerifrog,

I can totally relate. I hear you loud and clear. But! despite this ugly disease and all of it's life robbing capabilities there is always HOPE.

When we choose HOPE anything is possible.

I have been in the blackest of dark places and have survived it all, always returning to the light.....

My wish for you, seek the light, it is right there behind the darkness...

holding you in my hope filled thoughts,
Feelfit

geri, [group hug] [kiss]

i'm so sorry things are the pits again; i'm behind in my reading since my pc was down almost 3 wks!!

yes, lymetoo/tutu started a post on laughter and i've added continually on it ...must be 750-1000 stories, inspirational, etc. things there now. go to page 2-3 to look for hers.

i used to keep it up weekly; but i'm far behind on my readings/postings like that.

watch COMEDY MOVIES YOU ENJOY; helps the body relax, etc.

READ SUCCESS STORIES at top of support here; perhaps you might run into a story like yours and find HOPE AND STRENGTH in their story.

my best to you; keep posting; WE CARE AND LOVE YOU MY FRIEND GERI! [Smile] hugs/kisses

Maddog,
those special bolts for high lifting bumpers must be an o-high-o special order thing.

Around here we just use pepper in our radiators for stop leak!!

I once actually did ask a YOUNG mechanic for his metric crescent wrench,,,he never could find it after half hour of searching.
