Kam has access to a Limo (imaginary) and a driver (though Cottonbrain has offered to drive as well).

She is picking me up around 6:00 pm tonight. She has indicated that it is a very large limo and can accomodate all who want to join us......

On this night we are assured that we will be whole and well, fully functioning human beings...

Who wants to come along? Where do you want to go? What do you want to do?

Join us on this wonderful adventure....come on, don't be shy, these trips are fun!!!!

Feelfit

I want to start with dinner in the Mountain tops, that nice restuarant that overlooks that lush green valley. I don't know what I am going to order yet, but will start with a nice glass of fine red wine.....I will probably have the local stream trout. For dessert, the magnificent starlight will do me fine.

I am so enjoying all of the belly laughs that I am having with you, my friends....what a glorious evening so far......

is there tequila in this limo?

Posted by Elaine G (Member # 20735) on :

A long walk on the beach would be great, to feel the sand between my toes and the water rushing around my feet.

DaveNJ, of course there is tequila in the limo,
we could have Golden Margarita's on the rocks with salt. Leave the Flagyl at home.

Posted by liesandmorelies (Member # 15323) on :

Yes, Dave there will be Tequila for you and the best Red Wine for me.

We will sip this on our way to the Beach with Elaine, Kam, Cottonbrain and feelfit. And, it won't even be bad for our disease.

Who else is going????? [group hug]

I was just looking for an imaginary trip for Melissa's birthday.

We could all gathering in the limo and head to Sea World for Melissa's birthday!

Pain free...healthy for the day

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

Sea World would be fun! Are we going to Texas, Ohio, or CA??

I would also like to go to Yellowstone. Haven't been there in years and would like to go back.

I would like to pretend that I don't have celiac disease...then I could eat some fried shrimp and some cheesecake. Yum!!

I am ALWAYS up for a road trip!!! park me in the seat and let'ter rip!!

I wanna go see caverns and caves, and mountains and rivers, and sea and sand!! And whatever else lies between.

Am I picky about where I go,,,heck no. Any body is welcome to share also,,all comers invited,,,more the merrier.

We will just put a luggage rack on top of that LONG stretch limo and I will ride up there if more room inside is a requirement,,,or we can pull a U-Haul trailer!!

How long do we have to 'pack' or is this a full benes trip?? IF a day ends in a "Y" Its a day for traveling!!!

Wow...what a URL Hope it works.

it talks about cruises around the world....fun to look at and dream.

I figure we could do a cruise. We would be good at laying around on deck and eating ....especially when someone else is doing the shopping, cooking, serving and cleaning.

Posted by kam (Member # 3410) on :

Fun to day dream. I'm with you Don...

And Tutu...we can just twitch our nose and go into warp speed and be at which ever Sea World we want to attend.

I did not know there were several.

Yellowstone would be great too. I would like to stay in the historical lodge

Posted by Dekrator48 (Member # 18239) on :

Count me in!!!

Can we please stop at every beach on every coast???

Oh my, we are leaving in an hour....I better get packing....just beep the horn when you are in my driveway!!!

Posted by feelfit (Member # 12770) on :

OoPs Kam,

I had a doctor appt and I got home a little late, can you swing by now and get me? I have my bathing suit on under my sundress and packed a small bag. It seems like we will be gone for awhile....Hitting the beach on every coast, sea world and Yellowstone.

I picked up a few lovely bottles of Red wine Lies, and Dave the TequilA WITH THE worm right? We do want to eat him (wormser). Elaine, honey, wiggle your toes in that sand and dance while you're at it.

TuTu, how is that fried shrimp? Just Don, always the gentleman, so accomodating, you don't have to ride on the roof, we would miss your company inside.

Man, I feel great! How about you guys?

FF

Dilly has to bring the cabana boys.

Posted by just don (Member # 1129) on :

Holy Batmobile batman!! That is quite a LIMO!!!!

MAYBE I retract that offer,,,riding on top of that one would be tough.

Duck for overpasses for sure.

But cubic feet wise of space in there,,,can hold half the lymie nation!!!

Posted by Robin123 (Member # 9197) on :

We could drop in for various UOS showings and be Lymie Merry Pranksters, dressed in green and serving green lymeade and key lime pie to everyone who comes.

Posted by sammy (Member # 13952) on :

Is there room for one more? I'd love to join you all on your adventure!

Any place warm and sunny. No worries, no sickness, no schedules. Wow wouldn't that be the best vacation ever!

Great idea Feelfit:)

Can we start our journey? I'm ready.

Maybe we can continue this post and state what we have done on our trip and what we have seen
and experienced.

I would love to get back to Bora Bora and Moorea, it was beautiful.

When is the Limo coming to pick me up? [bow]

Posted by kam (Member # 3410) on :

Elaine...great idea. Tell us about our tiime in Bora Bora and Moorea. Did we have fun??

Robin could tell us about our time at the showing of UOS.

Great idea..key lime pie. Yumm

I want to hear the wind in the Pine trees and the stellar jays and see the squirrels at our campsite.

I want to find a great boulder to recline on and look up at the stars in the mountains with a mountain stream nearby.

I want to see the moon reflecting off the ocean like diamonds.

I want to roast marsh-mellows and hot dogs at the beach and hear the waves nearby...perhaps even go into the ocean when it is so dark around me I can't see the water but only feel it.

I want to see Mt Rushmore and Old Faithful and the lakes at Lassen National park when they are frozen over.

I want to see a field of poppies in the spring and lupin and other wildflowers.

I want to see the desert in bloom.

Elanie,

Limo is outside your door, come on out and Climb aboard. We are picking up Sammy next. OOOhhhhh pretty images Kam......

Anyone else want to come along?

Elaine,
nice call on the golden margarita..i'll bring my shaker...

with or without salt?

Dave

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

Feelfit, the fried shrimp is awesome! Waiting now for my cheesecake. Can't decide if I want strawberries or blueberries on it.

Posted by Dekrator48 (Member # 18239) on :

I love shrimp!

I brought some really delicious chocolates since we are all healthy and can eat anything we want.

What a beautiful sunset that was tonight at the beach!

Can't wait to see what our adventure brings tomorrow!

Sleep well my friends...our only decision is whether to stay at the luxury hotel or on the yacht???

Posted by feelfit (Member # 12770) on :

A little of both TuTu. Or, since you are Celiac free, you can have 2 pieces, one with strawberries and one with blueberries.

this is a stress free trip, so no decisions necessary. Oh, and IDSA is footing the bill so price is NO object.

I'm skipping the Trout and having 2 lobster tails instead.

Posted by feelfit (Member # 12770) on :

Glad you're having a good time Dekrator....Now that we have this wonderful benefactor things will be even nicer.....all expenses paid!

Posted by kam (Member # 3410) on :

Ymm...cheese cake!!

Posted by liesandmorelies (Member # 15323) on :

Dave,

I like mine with no salt please.

All,

I will also bring my great grandmothers famous Swedish Meatballs and the finest cheese and crackers for an appetizer.

Ps butter with the Lobster would be great(Since the IDSA is footing the bill of course)!!!!!

Heck, I better get packing, I am going to need hiking clothes, bathing suits for the beaches, comfy travel clothes for the ride and oh what a ride it will be.

Big hugs everyone! See you bright and early in the AM xoxoxo

Well, I prefer a white Zinfadel, so I'll bring some of that when you stop by Vermont to pick me up. We have some lovely foliage just starting to put on a show.

Could you swing by San Francisco for one more? I'll even throw in the fog for free!

Everyone is welcome to stay at my house--I'm only a couple of hours from Yellowstone. After Yellowstone, we could head up to Glacier National Park--nothing like majestic mountains and clean air to feed the soul. I think we might all be well by the time we return...

Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :

Imaginit... You're now my new best friend since you live close to Yellowstone! It's my favorite place!

Oh .. could we go to Victoria, BC after picking up Melanie... could do the whole west coast drive!

Posted by sammy (Member # 13952) on :

Oh, I am so excited! We get to stop at all these wonderful places that i've always wanted to visit [Smile]

I've never been out west and i've always wanted to go to Yellowstone and San Francisco, and the east coast foliage of Vermont should be so beautiful to see.

I'll have some lobster too since the IDSA is paying! We should get some great seafood when we get to the coast.

Since i'm from Ohio i'll bring the Buckeyes for desert. Everybody loves these treats, sweet peanut butter balls dipped in chocolaty goodness, yum!

Posted by Elaine G (Member # 20735) on :

Sorry I'm late. I took a long nap so I wouldn't have to sleep on the trip but now to the good stuff.

Oh, Bora Bora was heaven as it was 13 years ago. Gee, I got sick 12 years ago, I wonder if it was a Polynesian tick [bonk]

The water is still the clearest I have ever seen.
No surf many reefs off the islands.

Our accomadations were over the water thanks to
the ID guys.

Snorkling off the motu (little islands) what beautiful colorful fish. Yellows, oranges, mixed with black. Watch out for those rock fish.

Moorea was still as beautiful as I remember. Did everyone have fun on the 1/2 day safari?

What about the polynesian dancers. I wonder how those girls kept those coconut shell tops in place when they danced.

Wasn't the polynesian music fabulous. None of us sat still. It's been a long time since we danced.

What about the polynesians on the beach doing tatoos the old way with a small wooden hammer? Interesting but not for me, did anyone get a tat?

I loved the head leis' that we made out of Pulmeria flowers. I thought FF made the best [Cool]

I noticed that everyone purchased a black pearl piece of jewelry....Hey, just charge it to the ID guys.

DaveNJ thanks for the salted Margaritas on the trip. I thought you were going to drink the wormser and was a happy when you threw it on the ground and squashed it [bow]

Well, I think the side trip to Polynesia was worth the stop. The beach, sand, clear water and beautiful sky was energizing.

Where are we going next?

Posted by kam (Member # 3410) on :

I loved the reef snorkling in Bora Bora. [Smile]

Ok...I think it is time to stop by a spa now and get massages and all those other things that go along with spa treatment.

Time for a new do??

This stop over is on all those doctor's who just shook our hands and billed insurance.

I don't even mind vacationing in my own area - you are all invited to tour Muir Woods' majestic redwoods with Melanie and me - and yes, sometimes we have fogfree days here -

and yes we have hot springs areas here - harbin and wilbur and orr - we can visit them all -

And I'll also invite everyone to get out of the touring bus for a ferry ride around the bay, maybe even a trip 26 miles out beyond the Golden Gate to the Farallones Islands with all the nesting birds and seals.

I would invite you to my five star restaurant(imaginary). See, I am a chef (real) and I would love to treat each of you to something so special that you would all smile and be happy. We'd all feel great that day and we'd have such a good time. The Peterbuilt truck looks awesome, but I'll go horseback. Bora, bora may be a bit challenging for my horse, but he'd look cute in sunglasses and a straw hat. I do believe he'd eat the little umbrella that they put in the drinks.

Feelfit-thanks for posting this! Such fun!!!!!!!!

Ah A 5 star restaurant. Last time I had a meal that was a treat was in Ballard, CA. Wonder if that chef and restaurant is still there.

Saw a TV show the other day about equine trekking.

Wondered if I could ride horseback now and just how long I would be able to sit upright.

I sure would like to try.

I have just been trying to fathom that Melanie is ACTUALLY taking a real trip and JustDon too!
Hope that they have a great time.

PB4, Wowie, can you cook! Are you sure that your reasturant will let you travel with us? You're too good to let go! Yummy.

I love your horse complete with straw hat.

Kam, I'll bet you could do anything that you decided to do!

I think that I would like to do some modern dance...something like Pilobolus....I would love to move my body that way...on the stages off broadway.

Would you all back track to Indiana, USA and grab me?

I love red wine. I think I'll bring a few cases of Heineken.

But, I want to be crisp for most everything, unless there's no hangovers. I'm assuming there isn't for that occasional celebration splurge.

What great places you've all been. I can't wait to hear more of what I missed in case we circle back.

I'd like to add retractable wings to our vehicle should excitement require the need to get there faster.

The first thing I want to do is stop at Jellystone campground in Amboy, Illinois. I want to hug Yogi and Cindy and BooBoo and remember where the love of camping came from.

Then I want to share it with my son (oh by the way, can he temporarily appear then disappear for a little while?) like I did my daughter at his age before any illness which I don't have anymore on this trip.

I want to roll in the grass until I'm dizzy with delight. I want to run in tall grass under the moonlight amidst the campfire smoke where no ticks or disease live.

Like an animal scratching it's claws against a tree, once I get this out of my system we can move on and go global.

Whey......felt awesome!

Now, let's see the world-

Posted by liesandmorelies (Member # 15323) on :

2roads,

I already packed the red wine earlier and I thought you might be coming too. Don't worry there will be plenty to share.

I love the retractable wings idea(kinda like Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang)!!!

And, I love the tall grass between my toes too. Especially in the evening when there is a little bit of dew.

Oh, and the fire flies will light up the brilliant dark sky with a light show like we have never seen before.

Those sweedish meatballs are awesome and perfect with the red wine l&m!

I always thought it would be sooo cool to chef

on a yacht. The sailboat looks quite good too.

There will be no problem leaving my restaurant

because my friend is a chef and she can

watch the shop while I'm gone. How about a

sailboat that can do the chitty-chitty bang bang

thing and fly off to fun destinations!

Maybe my horse will sprout wings. This has the

makings of a mini-series! [woohoo]

Ahh, Kam that was so sweet of you to show me this pick of one of my all time favorite chilhood memories.

I used to think that if I tied metal trash can lids to my arms and flapped really I hard I would be able to fly like this car. Pretty funny huh?

You gotta see the whole movie and then picture this in the mind of a 6 year old.

What a great sailboat. When are we leaving?

Where are we going? Anyplace will do.

No seasickness either, isn't that grand?

Posted by 2roads (Member # 4409) on :

Oh my gosh.....the salt water tickles my toes......ooh. It's a bit nippy. But...how hot. Nothin' my suit and Heineken can't take care of.

I haven't done a dive off a boat into an ocean ever! Be sure, if I survive, you don't leave me behind. Here I go...wish me luck family.
SPLASH

I'm up! Wow a snoot full of salt water......it's gripping but quite therapeutic.

Come on....who's next. Kam you better not leave me.

As a matter of fact, you're next.

Ah, the fish are nipping at my toes-

2 roads...I hate that when those little fishies nip you in the but and your toes and legs, etc.

Guess it is better than the big fish doing that HA!

Feelfit...up for a quick course on how to be the captain of a ship??

Johnny Deb said he would help you out??

Posted by Melodymaker (Member # 16434) on :

Hey, could you guys come to Florida before the cruise.

You could pick me up, and we could do dinner at the Columbia in Ybor. Most fantastic chicken, delicious sangria (and I can drink all I want since i'm healthy!) and the most wonderful white chocolate bread pudding. MMMMM

.... and flamenco dancers. I think the dancers should let us try it. Would be fun swirling the dresses and capes and stamping on the floor!!

Then we can sail out of Tampa Bay, and maybe we'll even see a few bucaneers!!!

After the cruise, swimming and snorkling with the dolphins and reef life in sunny warm waters. Followed by more sangria of course. Let me know when you're coming by!

Posted by feelfit (Member # 12770) on :

Melody, we are on our way. First I have to get 2roads to stop nibbling on my toes. Since I took her dare and followed her into the water she has been pretending to be a big ole fish....trying to be funny! She$ has Heinekin head, so I'm just laughing.

Kam, Johnny Depp is going to teach me to sail? eeeeeeowwwwwie, you sure have connections!

Melody, I think that all of us will be looking forward to the adventures that you have lined up for us. Sounds like a blast....this is the BEST vacation EVER.

2 toss me a beer and let's get this ship moving!

TopAZ,

We are down in Fl. now picking up Melody. We will launch the winged limo and be up to NY in no time to pick you up.

Meanwhile, pack a small bag. Cash not necessary, this is an all expenses paid trip. Be prepared for the time of your life........

Anywhere in particular that you would like to go? We have a wonderful chef on board so think about some delectable delights as well....

Glad you could join us!

Feelfit

Excellent! *thumbs up*

Hmmm, I'd love to go somewhere near water. Ocean, lake, or stream. Doesn't matter.

Then again, maybe a lake would be nice. I've always wanted to check out Lake Powell. Maybe stay on one of those huge houseboats for a few days?

We could just lounge around out there on the lake, sipping drinks, chatting, listening to good music, and eating good food. When the sun gets too hot, we can just slip over the side into the cool clean water and float around.

Then we could park it a for bit and camp out on the shore somewhere pristine. I'd like to sit in the hot sun during the day and scrunch my bare feet and toes into the sand. Then I'd like to go exploring and find caves and artifacts.

At night, we could sit around bonfires after layering up with warm and cozy clothes. But let's not forget the some-mores and margaritas!

Lately I've been craving butternut squash soup. And anything rich and creamy and chocolate. Can you put my order in ahead of time?

I'm excited! Going to pack my bag now!

P.s. Since some of you seem to have connections and Johnny Depp will be floating around, do you think you all could arrange for Jake Gyllenhaal to be there as well? That'd be grand.

Posted by Elaine G (Member # 20735) on :

Feelfit, instead of using the winged limo, how

about we borrow the IDSA's private jet and fly

Topaz to Tampa and limo her over to the ship?

2 Roads that was some beautiful dive but....

Johnny Depp found a bathing suit floating in the

sea, so you may want to check yourself out [Big Grin]

Hey, is it true that not only do we have a chef

on board but a butler also?? I just love this

trip.

No packing bags, not needed, Kam had the local

botique bring over clothes for everyone. She

signed for it, compliments of the ID docs.

Hey, did you just see those dolphins? Wow.

Time for Golden Margaritas and flourless

chocolate cake. Yummy

I think we should all meet up with Melanie at some point on her trip across country -

Melanie could choose the location 'cause she's into landscaping - tickless, of course - we found a solution for the tick problem long ago and they're gone -

TRied to find a picture of a houseboat for Lake Powell but did not succeed yet.

I think I will just lay here on the yacht today and have the chefs bring me food every 2 hours.

Sometimes when I over do it I don't have what it takes to eat. So, time to just relax and eat today and recharge the batteries.

I really like this boutique on board. I might even go to the full service salon and have them put on make up for me today...manicure, pedicure, massage,

Yup,

Hey, feelfit, Stop nippin' back and go get us a cold one.

What scenery and contrast of color.

It's gettin' cold, I sure could use that suit.

Kam, I'm gonna join you on the dock as soon as I get that suit. I would like a facial....I don't think i even no what that is...

oh, and Topaz, have you ever tried peanut soup. I did in Williamsburg VA. Let's have a round of that.

Yes, that's Betty in the kayak, with her Iphone to stay in contact with everyone, and a small aircraft just flew overhead with a 30,000 posts! sign in her honor.

I told her there was a gourmet chef on board here and to come by and claim her honorary meal on the big sailboat.

Yes, I would like some brandy too please. And that peanut soup sounds lovely too. Heck, gimme it all!

Woohoo for Betty! A toast....to Betty and for all the hard work she does! *ka-ching* (That would be our glasses clinking).

I felt bad to ditch Jake like I did but friends come before men, ya know? Besides, he'll get over it.

Could someone please pass the sunscreen? My nose is getting a bit red.

Oooooh, the water feels so refreshing. Now where's my towel?

Is it almost breakfast time? What will the chef be preparing on this lovely morning?

Wanna go hiking to the caves a bit later? I feel like a million bucks today! Like I could walk for miles! No aches, no pains, and feeling very well rested and clear headed.

This is the life.

Where are we off to next? Betty, your choice.

feelfit, i joined this lively group at the right minute didn't i?

2roads, been to busy to take this precious time to ENJOY & HAVE FUN with you all.

my this has been a lively conversation; laughter galore, and big dreams! i'm all for endless belly laughs.

well, now it's time to come to IOWA'S FIELD OF DREAMS ball field, LITTLE BROWN CHURCH, the kate shelly longest and highest bridge outside of boone, iowa. want you all to enjoy some of our things we are so proud of.

well, let's book it now; we're all going to the iowa state fair in des moines next aug! we were the no. 1 attraction a couple of years ago to see since there is so much to see, do, entertainment galore, and endless FOOD.

perhaps our chef could whip us up some good pork, beef, and turkey dishes?? how about it? [Smile]

alright, let's get into a SUBMARINE since there are so many of us now, and enjoy the underwater views of animals, plants, and SUNKEN TREASURE SHIPS!

did you see all the 24k gold items just lying around waiting to be picked up by us?

i've lost so much of my imagination, i'm struggling right now to think of anything, but sure did enjoy the photos above.

i'd also like to fly 1st class to BANFF, CANADA! my folks has a few photos of getting there at 2 am and leaving at 6 am!! roads were flooded out.

wow, our own personal CHEF! wow, we can eat high off the hog or just plain healthy.

loved the way we didn't have to bring anything; just ourselves since idsa is picking up the tab for everything.

i sure can tell so many of you are in your "youth" and i'm so glad you are bringing these dreams alive on this post.

feelfit, thx for posting this. i'll try to think of things and come back tomorrow to add to your lively comments.

thx for the comments on my 30,000 posts on the airplane hanging out .... ha ha [Smile] [group hug] [kiss]

you made me so hungry, i'm logging off for my nightly air popped popcorn w/butter! EAT YOUR HEART OUT, and keep on.

Ok, I vote to pick up the gold treasure we find during our submarine excursions and use it to fund a charitable foundation to get Lymed landlubbers to the doc.

My gosh, we now have a booking for next August.

Hopefully we'll have seen most of the world by then. I think we should arrive in style at the fair next summer, like in a giant blimp.

If not, we'll just snorkle in the Keys! Haven't tried margarita's but I'm willing.. You'd think since my name is in it I would have!!! rofl

Having fun in the sun with my limo friends!!

Melodymaker, no worries. The water is soooo refreshing after being in the hot dry air. C'mon, jump in!

Betty, I love your treasure hunting idea...now where can we find that submarine? Think, people! Maybe Emeril or Rachel will know?

Now you've got me thinking about eating fried dough at the fair.

Since I won't need to be yeast free on this wonderful vacation, I think I'll have TWO pieces! With lots of powdered sugar. Mmmm...

Think we can hit the Galapagos Islands in our travels?

........gotta be a lyme green blimp though.

Can ya see us all frantically waving and acolades (sp) as we lightly touch down in our big, lime green balloon.

Oh, hey, I found a beautiful green gem in the treasure Betty, it reminds me of you. Great idea Robin....pick up to give out. What a great feeling.

Finally got my suit and snorkel gear. Uh oh, can't touch the reef or it'll die.....gotta watch my turn and kick. You all look so funny with your masks on.

Wow, so this was where the Field of Dreams was filmed. Can't see any plaque or anything, is there Betty?

Alot of open space though.....Oh my gosh, look at that bridge (a picture would help though). I see it as red and high and a beautiful sunset to be had on top of it. I am, however, afraid of heights.

Yup, lots of food and games at the fair next year for me.

Off we go to....okay, Canada or the keys?

Where to Kam. Kam.......watch the birds............................
