My LLMD is moving to DC from the Charlotte NC
area.

They love him up there and I'm glad for him.

But my 20 minute drive will be 7 hours now and still worth it.

just a heads up

LOL

Yep, sad loss for the Carolinas. I got the word when I saw him last week. I told him I will follow him anywhere. I have been his patient since 2001. He gave me my life back.

A week ago, he told me he was moving in 3 weeks, so it is now down to 2. I am told there will not be much down time for the practice, as they are already working on opening the DC office while he is wrapping things up in SC.

I sincerely hope he will now be in friendly territory and his practice will thrive. The more they harass him the more determined he becomes. He is the most dedicated physician I have ever known. He will never stop fighting for us.

Again, sad loss for the SE US. Many will lose their access to care.

Sorry you will now have to travel.

I am in the DC area so nice he is coming here, but bad for you.

Is he joining an existing practice or opening a new office altogether?

We already have several in the area. Do you know why he is moving up here? He will certainly have a lot of business in this area.

Are you talking about Dr. J?

Yes. We need to clone him!

Interesting. It's so hard to tell a general concensus on LLMD quality from research. There were a lot of concerns on the LLMD list about this doc and that scared me. It's like treading through mud trying to find the very best. [Smile] I don't blame that LLMD for leaving that hellish state after all that mess! [Frown]

Dr J is a hero in my book... and to me, he will always be 'The Man'.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they undergo some very difficult medical crises of their own.

i even forgot what i was going to pm you about; yes, my home address book has yours.

good grief charlie brown; yahoo made it no longer user-friendly! [tsk] [confused]
