Dr. Oz reveals how to protect yourself from the parasites in your own home. ..
Dr. Oz

He mentioned the parasites tht are common, including Babs. But he never went on to discuss Babesiosis at all !!! Spent much time on various worms....but shoot......TO MENTION BABESIOSIS,and then not talk about it at all.....bummer Dr. Oz!

His guest biologist, Dan Riskin, was the man from Animal Planet who was on the show, Monsters Inside Me,- about parasites.

Monsters Inside Me: Babesiosis
** Babesiosis is carried by ticks. It can cause extremely high fevers and even death! Common only in New England, every year it seems to show up further and further west.

Riskin says in the video, typically only 1% of red blood cells are infected and so even with a blood smear it is hard to detect. People often show no syptoms.

Well, I got the Lyme in NE, but tested neg for the co infections.

Are the tests for those any more reliable than the Lyme ones? needless to say, after 25 years that was neg too.

Thanks for this note of it's mention on Oz.

Sad that a noted scientist is so wrong about where this comes from. New England, ONLY? Nope.

There is a very rough strain of babesia in Missouri. And, really, it's all over the globe.

C'mon now.

It came to New England to ski, whitewater canoe + kayak and fly fish. Really liked the area and decided to just stay here.

That is why.
