I am looking for a LLMD for my mother in Pensacola, Florida. I do not quite understand how to use this site or how to post a request for help. I really need to help her as she is suffering terribly and no doctor she has seen has been able to help her or diagnose her problem. I really think it could be related to a tick that was attached to her ear for a week. Please help me find a doctor or advise me of how to use this site better. Thank you!

You're doing fine!! Your post should be in Seeking a Doctor.. but that's OK. I'll send you the information you need.

It will be in a private message since we don't post dr's names online.

You will see a flashing signal .. just click there.

Welcome!!

Can you get your mother to go to her GP or walk-in clinic in the meantime??? ( if it was a relatively recent tick bite )

susan,

Welcome!!!

If you click on "forum home" (located near the top under "post reply"), you will see all the different lymenet boards.

Click on whatever board you want to post on....Medical Questions....seeking a Doctor...General Support...ect.

Then just click on "post new topic" to make a post.

And as lymetoo said, any private messages you recieve will appear near the top as a flashing envelope and it will say "you have 1 unread private message"....click there to read and reply.

In case you haven't read this info yet, here is a very important paper by a lyme expert....

Hope your Mother gets the help she needs.

Welcome Susan,

Other posters gave you great advice.

You're definitely at the right site to get alot of wonderful helpful information.

I hope your Mom sees a local LLMD soon and gets started on her road to recovery.

Best of luck!
