Can someone tell me how to DELETE a facebook message... or can you??
I wrote to someone who has the same name as I do on Facebook. It ended up on my husband's Facebook account... I think!!!
He has an account that he doesn't sign out of.

If you wrote it, you can delete it, but only if it is on your wall. You are given (x) amt. of time to delete a message posted to someone elses wall.
Drag your mouse to the right of the message and (remove) should show up, then just click it. Otherwise, click (clear) if it is in the status section.

I just went to his Facebook and didn't see the message. I hope I'm wrong that it was on there. I'm all confused.
I don't know if I know how to do what you said. What is a wall?
I checked the other person's account and didn't see the message there either. Where did it go?

FB still confuses me. But, I am easily confused.
I have posted something then noticed it needed editing and wasn't able to figure out how to do that or even delete it at that point.
Other times I have been able to find that delete button.
I have one poster who only shows up when I click on profile and then read my wall.
The others show up on home.

Lymetoo go to profiles up top and you will find all your postings move your mouse pointer to the right of the message and a remove will show up click on it and it will delete the message.

Ah...that explains why I was not able to delete a message when I had the Home page up.
I needed to go to the profile page.
Any ideas why my person only shows up on my profile page and not the home page??
