I have been focusing on what I don't have lately and saw a post on FB about focusing on what we do have from a friend...

...Thought it was a good way to start the New year...

1. I am thankful I am hungry right now and most likely will get up and gets some breakfast after posting this.

I recall when I had no appetite with this condition.

2. Thankful for a quiet, safe place to live that is within my budget.

3. Thankful for the power chairs I have..one for when I can not hold myself upright and the other for when I can.

4. Thankful for the car I have and that I am able to drive 15 min out of town now and then.

5...Ok brain is going...I'll be back later.

How about you...

I am thankful for having a few "good" days out the week, and thankful my work is slow so I can sleep out the bad days.

I am thankful I kept going to different doctors until one of them finally told me why I couldn't stay out of bed for more than a few hours a day most days.

I am thankful I am finally getting treatment, even if the treatment is making me sicker right now. I know I will feel better some day.

I am thankful it was caught before it could do any more damage to my body.

I am thankful I can walk, talk, exercise, and play with my kids when I'm feeling good, and watch Spongebob with them when I'm feeling sick!

I am thankful for my LLMD.

I am thankful that I am beginning to see improvement.

I am thankful for having a sweet hubby standing by me through all of this.

I am thankful that through my suffering I have learned a lot of things I never would have learned.
