Could someone please tell me what supplements and other things are good to take and why for Lyme and the various other coinfections? Also how does one manage to eat raw garlic cloves? They are very bitter. Thanks.

The garlic one is right down my alley.
I have a very small frying pan like 4 inch cast iron one.
I put olive oil in there about three quarters of an inch deep.
I peel each clove and deep fry it in the oil.
Salt and eat!!
A little honey on each one wouldent hurt.

- Raw garlic can burn. Be careful. Cooked garlic no longer contains allicin, the key ingredient that we need. But cooked garlic can have other benefits so enjoy.
One note on oils, be sure to keep them at moderate heat or lower or they can oxidize and actually damage our cells. Surprisingly, medium heat works just find for sauteing garlic and onions.
Old oils, too, can damage our cells. Be sure to only use fresh oils. If they taste old or rancid, discard in the trash, not the sink.
Allicin capsules are best. Biopure or Hepapro brands.
Have you seen Burrascano's Nutritional supplement guide? It's part of his guidelines.
That is the first source to consult. Then, Singleton's book.
If you received a welcome packet with links, they should be on those. -

Fish oil is important because the bacteria make their cell walls out of cholesterol.
Vit D3 is great because it boosts the immune system.

Specifically for Lyme, I take Samento (I'm up to about 20 drops a day, 10 morning and 10 night), Cumanda (same dose), and Burbur (about 40 drops/day spread out over several times during the day. The Samento and Cumanda are for (ah shoot, I can't remember -- whatever killing the bugs is called) and the Burbur is for detox.
I also take a host of other supplements including fish oil, DHEA and hydrocortisone (I'm one of those low DHEA, low cortisol Lymies), ribose, Thymic Protein A, something with a load of B vitamins, and one other thing I can't remember. Sorry. Better lay down now. Brain shutting down.....

Thanks Maddog, that sounds interesting to try.
Thanks Keebler, I did not the supplements and will look for them.
Thanks Dekrator, I will look for D3. Is it ok to take things like echinasea?
Thanks Nellie, I hope you feel better. Do you ingest hydrocortisone? I thought that was just topical and to avoid because it was a steroid.

Sorry for the late reply -- in Florida on vacation right now! Yes, I do ingest hydrocortisone -- it's a little white pill. I think it's something like 5mg -- very small amount. I asked the dr about it being a steroid, and she says it's such a small dose I shouldn't worry about it.
