I posted a while ago about my intestinal issues. Diarrhea, mucous, occasional blood.

Well I have a Hyietal hernia detected from scoping my stomach and upper GI.

I also had a colonscopy. The doc said my rectum was inflamed. He suspects Ulcerative collitiis.....whooda, whatta?

Okay folks, how bad is this?

What could cause this?

What can I do naturally to combat issue?

Keep in mind it's still not definitive, but I'm not getting a warm fuzzy.

Darn. That's not good. I'm quite certain that being on abx can cause it. I thought that is what randibear's dr told her.

I don't know about what to take for it. Sure hope you find out soon.. are you supposed to have a follow up apptm??

Lymetoo,

I haven't been on any antibiotics in any significant amount for about 5 years.

Does that matter?

I hope the antibiotics did not cause this-

hmmm... you would think you would have recovered then (from the abx)

so maybe another cause... or just genetic

I'm going through this right now.. have my second colonoscopy scheduled for Friday... I had a polyp, ulcer, mucous, and severe inflamation BUT .. they believe I have yersinia.
Lord knows when I got it, how long I have it..but some of the critters that carry lyme are the same that harbor yersinia. I suspect it's all from the tick bite, but there's no way to know for sure. When they do the procedure, I am having a biopsy of my colon sent to Clongen labs to see if any spirochettes can be found as the non-llmd's deny lyme can be in the abdomen (we all know better then that), just like my neurologist said spirochettes can't penetrate brain matter.
Anyways, good luck, hope you can find answers.
