During November/December I started experiencing strange symptoms.
While waiting to see an LLMD in early January I got into an Infectious Disease specialists who thought by symptoms that I had Lyme disease, and he continued my Doryx 200 mg/day prescription.
When I finally got into the LLMD early January in Northern, VA. They ran 25 vials of blood worth of test. And though that I had Lyme, so they added 1200 mg/day of Omnicef.
Yesterday, during my followup I finally got the results. My Igenex Lyme came back positive as well as Quest( 5 bands positive) for Lyme. I also found out that I tested positive for Babesia WA-1.
So now I'm on Biaxcin 500mg/day also. If I don't show marked improvement in a month then IV antibiotics is recommended.
Thanks to this board for finding the LLMD; but looks like I have a long road ahead.
I don't know whether I have had this for 2 years(last tick) or 33 years when I first got a tick. But at least it is good to finally know what I have.

I'm glad you're on the road to recovery.
You could have had it for 33 years then have gotten it worse 2 years ago .... that is basically what happened to me.

Could be 33 .. my count was 42 before I got dxd.. now up to 51.
It will be a long road, but worth the trip!!

good luck on your treatment.
I am sure I have be infected for years (looking back now) perhaps as long as 25-30 years.
I think what really put me over the top was getting reinfected and/or additonal co-infections being added in the last two years.
Three tick bites, all reinfections---now I know.
Sure wish I had been better educated with this stuff.
I believe now it is our duty to try to educated peoples as much as we can....and as much as they will let us..
people STILL don't want to listen or just dont get it.
