I keep thinking i need to move to San Diego to get help.

There are many obstacles to over come...mostly financial.

But, one concern I had was answered on another web site.

That is how power chair friendly is San Diego....

I copied and pasted a reply posted to one person that will be visiting the area and had the same concerns.

Thought I would share it with others.

No need to worry!

If you go to San Diego Zoo your wife gets in free as a care giver!

Hey there, I thought I was the only one who lived in the middle of "no man's land". I live in the middle of Angeles National Forest. I have to have sattelite tv and sattelite internet due to our virtual remoteness. Even our phone signal is turned into a microwave signal and beamed to a dish on the hill behind us.

Bug Barb....it was fun reading about all the resources available in SD

ON the other hand, I am not so sure my brain and body would be ready to live in the city full time.

I feel a bit more secure out in the boonies right now.

I can drive 5 or 10 min and have the great outdoors to myself.

Sounds like you just need to step out your front door. HA!

PS No ticks here. I like that.

When i was infected the first time i lived a mile from here. we had to move 'cause i was sick. I got treated and got better. Moved back to where I'm living and within a year,I was having symptoms again.
I used to pick flowers from my yard for my desk at work. One day I picked a rose and saw a tiny tick running as fast as its nasty little legss would carry it towards my hand on the rose branch.
I picked an engorged deerr tick off my indoor cat.
truly I live in Tick Heaven and lyme hell

I wonder about what I could do if I once again lived in a tick infected area.

Is there anything you can take daily to help?
