last night on tv i watched this show called "monsters inside us".
it showed this guy from rhode island i think.
he had babesia. some doc found it and gave him two weeks of antibiotics.
they said it was enough and he was cured.
i said, ah...wonder how he's doing now.
two weeks is not enough for babesia is it?

Nope. Not enough! Would be a miracle if he were actually cured.

Usually the people on those shows are sick for a while before they get the right diagnosis. That being considered, I don't see two weeks erradicating the infection
and you surely dont treat babesia with antibiotics; you treat with anti-malarials like the dreaded Mepron [barf]
