So, I think I might be relapsing and am really bummed out. I am new here, so I thought I would tell my story and welcome any thoughts.

For about 2 years (ages 23-25), I had weird things going on with me...random fevers, constantly tired, and heart palpitations. After tests with the cardiologist, it was decided I had MVP. A year later, I was undergoing more tests because it was painful to move my right eye, still exhausted, and had tingling sensations on one side of my face. It was decided that I had Lyme/with a coinfection and was treated by a Lyme doctor. I did 4-5 months of 2 different antibiotics and felt great!

I got pregnant about a year after finishing treatment. My son is now 15 months old and I am inconsistently experiencing some of these old symptoms again. Periodically I get the feeling on my face. I had the pain in my eye for about a week. I also get bursts of tingling sensations throughout my body. This all started about 6 months after having my son. This sounds like a possible relapse right? Besides getting back in touch with my docs...I need some good advice for treating what appears to be a chronic lyme case. I am also concerned with the possibility of having passed this on to my son. Thank you!

Go to Seeking a Doctor and find a dr who can help you. Sounds like the first dr undertreated you... ( just my non-medical opinion )

Blessings on your "baby" boy! I hope he missed out on this stuff!

Welcome to Lymenet!! [Cool]

PS.. You also need to be evaluated for all possible coinfections.

I would seek out an LLMD. I sent you a private message with a list of LLMDs for our area.

Yes, I agree it sounds like a relapse because these were your symptoms before. I sent you some doctors' names and some info.
