Bless your heart and thank you!
I spent the afternoon today watching the races (of course) and dying Easter Eggs (and my fingers, the table and floor) all pretty colors ..
And making a BIG Easter basket ....
And stuffing empty plastic eggs with goodies for the Easter bunny to hide.
I was having fun till one of our members told me her little kids were "too old" to do the Easter Bunny thing anymore!
I thought you were NEVER too old for THAT! At least I'm not!
HA!

Mine is too old for easter eggs as well....but after what you said, I am off to the store to get some dye and eggs.
I think he just might think it is fun after all!!
Thanks TinCup.

A happy and blessed Easter to all!
My 15 yr old daughter colored eggs with me last night. We had a nice time together. BUT she insisted that I could not hide them this year.
I think it is because no one is here this year to hunt for them with her. Both of her brothers are away this year. (One at the University of VA and the other at Quantico, VA-USMC).
I can understand her feelings and first thing this morning...well after she finally got up... she immediately went to check out her basket. It was nice for a change not being woken up at 7am to look for eggs (oh wait my dog woke my up at 6:30!).
I do miss my boys though...

Thankyou Steve,
I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
I had a wonderful Easter with my family.
Every year we hide over 250 eggs for the neighbor childeren and my 2 boys.
On a Sat. evening when It gets dark, all of us grown ups hide the eggs, and then the children
have there flash lights and go hunting for them.
It is so much fun to see the joy on there faces.
Sunday... today we had a huge breakfast; eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy.
Then we had a big dinner with cornish hens and ham and the whole nine yards.
Big family here at my home with strays that had no where to go for the holiday.
Yes it was truely a wonderful day.
PS... the little kids and the big kids had fun coloring eggs.

I had a quiet Easter. Just me, the hubs and my dog.
I made a ham, boiled buttered/parsley red potatoes, green beans, deviled eggs and rolls. And a red velvet cake for dessert.
After stuffing ourselves we took the dog to the dog park. Walked around a mile and the dog went swimming.
Just finished watching the movie 'Brothers' and am now watching 'The Return of the King.'
