Hi All,

Through my integrative Dr, it was suggested I had Lyme's testing done. The results came back with some bands positive, some negative and some IND. Can someone help me decipher the results?

Not to go into a long story, but I was bit by a tick back in the summer of 2005 and have had declining health ever since, though never had a "positive" lyme test. I've had all the symptoms in the book, the most severe of is heart palpitations that actually sent me into Atrial Fibillation 3 times over the past 4 years. I've also had aches/pains, foggyness, depression, sort of CFS type symptoms. My CD57 recently came back at 40.

I'll elaborate more on my story later, but I didn't want to turn this into a monster sized email.

Here are my results, if anyone can key me into what I should do I'd be appreciative. Even my integrative, while seemingly Lyme literate, says it simply can't be definitively determined if I currently have Lyme.

This is what came back:

Andrew, others will come along with how to read the test results.

Not sure if I recall correctly, but you might also check the Igenex Web Site.

I do recall listening to a rep from Igenex talk about testing for lyme and how it is a clinical dx by a LLMD

And the percentage of people that they miss.

Although their lab is much better than others.

Dr. B's guidelines have a check off list you can also go by.

Brain and body are low functioning right now or I would include web sites to the above.

Could you repost this in Medical Questions so you will get more responses? I'd prefer to reply there myself so things don't get "lost" over here in General.

Band 39 is a very specific Lyme band and 34 is also significant.

Band 41 is usually the first to show up.
