I see the LLMD for the first time. I've got all the info you all suggested last week when I posted about being nervous, which I still am a basket case. Thank goodness for good drugs.

Gonna make up a good selection of driving tunes to help keep me upbeat on the drive out.

Oh and saw the Neuro that ran my last labs and of course she said that I was cured since I did the 3 weeks of ceftin. When I mentioned being sicker afterward she just said that it was probably just a side affect of the abx. grrr.

So just gonna read over all my material today and try to stay sane till I see the LLMD tomorrow afternoon. Talk about a Herculean feat.

You will feel much better after your appt. You will feel so glad that finally someone is on your side and truly wants to help you!

sadly I'm sort of starting to second guess myself.

I know it's the fear but I keep wondering if I'm doing the right thing, if really the 21 days of ceftin did take care of it, if I chose the right dr.

I know that from the research and so forth that it's extremely likely that the lyme is still active and is what is causing me so much problmes but still I can't help thinking about this.

[woohoo]

As long as you got feedback from happy lyme patients, you've chosen the "right" doctor! Good luck!! [hi]

and safe travels!

I will pray that you find the calmness and serenity that you need to get you through your LLMD appt.

When you come back after your appt and tell us how much better you feel, I will be thanking God.

Big hugs to you and have a very safe trip!

Think of proceeding like a business model. No business person would second guess a decision to get an expert opinion.

Break out of the child/woman/submissive role to which your other doctors delegated you.

You've done homework and, absolutely, there is data clarifying the longevity of borrelia after 3 weeks' treatment.

There is evidence that lyme rarely travels alone.

Second guessing (based on how others want you to see yourself) is not a good business model. Seeing an expert is.

And, so is getting good rest tonight. I'd put away all your notes and focus on what you need to get yourself rested, relaxed and entertained with some other thoughts, too. Enjoy the drive.

Good luck.
