I live alone and it's a choking hazard. My LLMD sells some in capsule form which are easy to swallow but they are super $$$.

I don't mean to laugh at your dilemma- but I know exactly what you mean from your title.

I have had to perfect a method of throwing my head back while swallowing and hope gravity takes over.

Just a thought- but when I had to take flagyl, I learned to dip it in olive oil to help it go down. Maybe I will try it with the magnesium-but I have to wait until tonight cause I take it just before bed.

lol- it's so annoying. Maybe I can chop them in half but then they would be all jagged and maybe make it worse? I'm on a mission to find a good one now. I'll post if I do [Smile]

Mag-Tab SR at Wal-Mart. Dr. B recommended this one.

Mine are as big as a horses butt.

JR the lubrication sounds like a great idea.

Magnesium is bulky, so getting enough means huge tablets.
Look into the liquid and powdered forms.

Liquid magnesium

Powdered magnesium

iHerb.com has a good variety of choices, and you can read the reviews to see which ones people liked.

I like Source Naturals Ultra-Mag, but the tablets are large.
Mag Calm powder is good...I add a little sugar to the lemon flavored.

Perque brand caps aren't that big.

Also, if you coat the MagTabs w/olive oil or something, they go down a lot easier.

I can't recommend a Mg+ tab, but I am an awful pill taker and it really helps to take large pills with natural unsweetened applesauce.

Mg powder is the way to go

I can swallow my horse-sized Mg pills, but I can't digest them. Even with enzymes. My abdomen looks like I swallowed my head!

Powder, all the way! I like Mag-Tea G. It's Magnesium with Green Tea. Douglas Labs.

Take it with food or you will be nauseous.

Ask for capsule form at your health food store.
I will look on my bottle of it and let you know which I take.
