We sadly read in our paper of a lovely woman who died "after a protracted illnes from Lyme disease". She had been a medical researcher and nurse.

To preserve her privacy I will not disclose more information. But I send my thoughts and prayers to her family. And I can't help wondering what we can learn from her experience.

I have been ill for so many years and nearly lost my life as well. But I feel hopeful that we got it under control in time, that I am responding to the Bicillin and Biaxin and doing well compared to my past long history of serious illness.

It is such a long haul, but I am thankful for all of you as well as for the years of hard work and research done by others on our behalf.

Thank you sincerely from my deepest soul. And accept our deep sympathy if you are related to or know this lovely lady we have lost.

Thanks everybody. And yes, I always need many hugs! Makes you think, doesn't it?

I often remember a doc who told me the old story "The good news is that this illness will not kill you. The bad news is that this illness will not kill you."

I was in critical care for two weeks being constantly monitored and then in private room for 4 more weeks. My poor family sat with me every single day.

Watching them gave me the strength to fight. And they are the reason I am still here, writing to all of you tonight!

Today was bad....crazy blood pressure fell to the ground and I was unable to get up! Heart going crazy. Doc to be called tomorrow. Can't sleep. Miserable stuff just hits you with something new every day, doesn't it?

But here we are, alive and fighting. So hang on, everybody!!!! Many, many hugs!!!!

Farraday
