We made it to tulsa! I spent the day watching my 10yo son playing with my 18mo grandson. It was awesome! He had the baby belly laughing all day! We swam and went out to eat. And i got tons of baby smooches! The hardest part was leaving. The baby kept going to my son and holding his arms out to be picked up. My son would pick him up give him a kiss then set him down just for the baby to hold those little arms out again. Didnt help that he was crying. We did this for 5 mins. When we got to the parking lot we could STILL hear my GS crying in the upstairs apt! It broke my sons heart..and had HIM in tears. My son said his baby nephew is his little buddy. It was such a good day!

How sweet Misfit! I remember those days when my niece and nephew were little and we would visit them. I was a teenager and I would cry for an hour after we would have to leave.
I wish all families could live close together.

That sounds so cute. My sister in law is having a baby in November and my kids are already 8 and 5.
It's nice to know that an older child can really enjoy playing with a baby.

Sweet!! So glad you had a great day. I don't live near my family either.. two states away. Hate it sometimes!
I miss all the good stuff!
I hope your son is doing better now. Poor guy!

My poor son. He was so upset that the baby was crying like that. I asked my DD if maybe it was because he wanted to go bye bye too. She said no...hell just start twisting the knob if he wants to go somewhere. It was my son that he wanted. I spent yesterday in bed but it was so worth it! I wish we could go more often. Yall just wait till i get rid of this fatigue!
