I used a coil machine for a year. They are the most powerful. I did not get better but I think the machine failed to treat Babs which I now think must be treated first.

I think it may have cured Bart.

I know where to get one-pm me if you want that info.

The rifer support thread that Lymetoo posted is a great place to get information. Also, posting questions in there will get the attention specifically of those of us using rife.

I am using a Doug Coil machine, which is the most powerful. There are many in the rife thread, mentioned above, who use other machines for different reasons. Other machines have more frequencies that you can use to target the lyme, may be cheaper, and other different pros and cons.

Have you read Bryan Rosner's book? This really will answer a lot of your questions and I think of as a must-have. http://www.lymebook.com/lyme-disease-rife-machines-bryan-rosner

The Doug Coil usually runs around $3,000 but I got mine used for about half that price. The coil is, I think, the most expensive machine, but I'm not positive on that.

Rife makes a big difference for a lot of people. I can tell it is having an effect for me already (I'm 2 months into treatment), but it takes time and requires patience. I've had lyme for a long time and everyone is different.

I also just started using the rife to treat my babesia, which some people have had good experience with.

I've spent hours digging through the wonderfully informative rife thread on this site and came away from the experience knowing a lot, and with pages of notes, but still having no idea which machine would be best for me and where I can purchase one for a good price. (Rifes R Us? Rife Discounters?) Sort of like trying to decide on a Lyme treatment. Pros and cons everywhere. I thought I wanted a Doug Coil or the somewhat similar machine 4000 (if the latter, do I need the MOPA?). But, maybe the "more frequencies" of other machines would be better. Aaaaaaa!

And I am concerned, if I find the process of selection so confusing, how will I deal with setting all of those specific frequencies?

Also, I was unsure - can a rife be used along with abx, or must a person be drug free first?

I am happy to know that the coinfections are also treated with rife.

Do you have Rosner's book? He gives an outline of the best ones. I agree, there are lots of options and it's hard to know what is best. The Doug Coil has the longest track record for lyme, but other machines are getting really good reviews too, and I agree that it's nice to have more frequencies available. On the other hand, people have recovered with just the doug coil frequencies, so who knows.

I might recommend posting in the rife thread, then you'll get more responses. I'm pretty new to this myself so don't know a lot about the different types of machines.

As far as setting the frequencies -- it isn't that big of a deal. I've heard people say that one reason they chose a machine other than the doug coil was for ease of use. With some of those, you just move a dial until it reads the number you want.

With the doug coil, it's alittle more, but really isn't that big of a deal. Here is a video of someone setting a frequency with the coil:

There are lists of frequencies for you to start out trying that have worked for other people with lyme and coinfections, and that's what we've worked with.

I just responded to the question about antibiotics on another thread here: http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/98247

Again, I just need to make clear I'm only one person and haven't been doing this very long, so these are only my thoughts. Post in the rife forum, or join the rife yahoo group for more experienced opinions.

Yes, get Bryan's book. It is essential.

It's very easy to use the EMEM5A .. which is one of the top 4 machines Bryan refers to in his book. It is also the cheapest... less than $500.

If you need info, feel free to PM me.
