first i went to get my daughter from daycare and completely forgot which classroom she was in now.....went to the classroom from a year ago.......then just couldnt remember which room she was in........
then driving home, turned into our road.....saw the mailvan at my house and my mom walking out of the driveway...something happened in my brain and I put the car into park whilst I was still driving down the road......loud crunching from the engine....why oh why did I do that??!!....... got into the driveway........havent dared to switch it on again.......
I am so upset that I may have seized the engine......but also I realized how confused I can be
My husband said I shouldnt be driving anymore.......
what the heck is going on in my brain???

Lyme disease is named neurborrelia because the infection(s) involves the brain and can cause severe cognitive dysfunction.
Your husband is absolutely right about you not driving. You could put yourself and you daughter at risk of having a bad accident, not to mention others. It is similar to driving drunk.
I have had very bad neuro dysfunction as well and had to give up driving, and I am sure others with lyme can relate. PLEASE don't drive in this condition.

As far as I am aware you cannot drive a car if it is in park. So I doubt you did anything that permanently hurt the car.
