My case is not terrible, not compared to many of you... but it's amazing how even when you explain it to very close friends, they don't really get it... or say it's in your head... today I told a friend, "no, I could not go to el porto because I CANNOT BE OUT IN THE SUN!" I had told him the thing about sun exposure/doxy several times. On that note, it would be cool to connect with some Lymies in LA, and if you're up for it, eventually meet up and do something social, physical and mental considerations permitting...

Am aware of some kind of ILADS-endorsed meeting that takes place on Sundays, but it is quite far from Venice, where I live...

I am in W.LA. I know of a couple of folks in Venice on this board...and I'm sure there are many more in

this area. Unfortuantely I am in the chronic stage and housebound with this disease and can't

socialize, but sure would love to be able to, that would be so wonderful.

Sk8ter, the meeting is in Whittier, which ain't close to me... Probably not close to you either. Not sure. Too lazy to pull up Google Maps at the present.

Hoping to take you up on the coffee sometime in the near future. Starting with a new doctor

on the 22nd. Wish me luck as I have no quality of life this way.
