I have been treating with abx for 4 1/2 years with ony slight improvement in a couple of areas. Mostly I feel worse all the time. Can it be that it will take longer than this to feel better? I know everyone gets better at a different rate but 4 1/2 years seems like forever and I feel like crap all the time. I am very happy for those who feel back to normal after even a couple of years of treatment but also a little envious as well. My LLMD finally said at my last appt. that I am considered "chronic". Even so, I would like to have a day here or there where I can see a little improvement. Just feeling tired and my endurance is flagging!

I would try something different. 4 1/2 years is a long time.
Have you been on combinations to go after all three forms? Have you treated coinfections? What about parasites? I know I never would have gotten well without parasite treatment.
Heavy metals? Candida? Candida can make you feel much the same as Lyme.
How about detoxification? Have you tried things like Dr. Natura cleanses or Hulda Clark liver cleanses? Those two cleanses made a big difference for me. I also got benefit from whey protein powder shakes and coffee enemas.

I couldn't figure that out.
If I tested negative for parasites and worms, is it possible that it was a false negative.
I have been getting treatment for 1 year and only see some improvement in some areas.

I tested negative for parasites and had tons of them!!! I took Humaworm a half hour before breakfast and two hours after dinner. It's to be taken twice a day on an empty stomach. For me, that fit around the med schedule.

ive got a feeling i have worms as i grew up at a lake where i swam every day in the summer accidentally drinking who knows how much of that water. guarantee to have ingested worms. i cant gain weight. im still sick after 14 months of treatment.
my llmd has prescribed me viox or something like that. its a antiparasitic drug. however i havent taken it since ive read on here about people that take a nose dive after treating for this. if i get worst i will lose my business and be homeless. i cant take that risk.
