Another month of Doxy under my belt but some days I feel worse than when I started treatment!
My Dr. is a suppossedly a great LLMD but I wonder now. I am going to ask for maybe Metronidazole or Xinidazole to be added to my treatment plan.
Something's gotta give! Just getting tired of this!
Thanks for listening!

Your doctor might be one of those who treat lightly. They won't always tell you. But when you've run into a brick wall about upping the dose or trying something else, you'll know.

Please, stick with it,
If you have the same LLMD as I do,
He was, and is, brilliant!
He started me on Doxy, then added treatment for getting at the Bart.
three months later,
we switched and he wanted to get to treating Bab.
I am still getting treatment for BAB. but I am now on really high doses of oral antibiotics as well.
It was a slow and steady plan, with more focus on targeting the co-infections, which, from my own experience, were the cause of most of my most scariest symptoms!
Some may treat lightly,
some may focus on the co-infections,
some may ignore the co-infections,
some may put you on I.V. antibiotics immediately,
my LLMD may have not put me on I.V yet because he knows that I can't afford it, and because the medication treating the BAB. is the most important medication for me to be taking right now!
