i can't believe i did this, so let's just start a new thread on stupid things i've, er, WE all have done.
i just made a pound cake and it called for 1/2 stick of butter or 1/4 cup melted.
i put in a WHOLE BRICK. you know the kind, where you cut it into four sticks.
egads....what a waste...
i read that over and over, adn still did it.
i'm beginning to think i should just buy store bought, but mike hates anything store bought. maybe i should just sit down and double double read everything. or ask him to repeat it to me.
i hate doing this stuff.
last night i opened my tube eye cream and lost the top. i searched for half an hour for that top. all over the bed, under the bed, carpet, bathroom.
guess what?? i never got the top completely off and it was still ON the tube.
egads...

Well...I feel like Dumb and Dumber every single day!
The highlight for me, though, was probably this past summer. I was watching my oldest daughter's softball game. I was panicked...I couldn't find my 6-year old son! I turned to my daughter and husband and asked in a total panic where he was.
HE WAS SITTING ON MY LAP!
Funny...but very very sad!

I never have these problems! Posted by Haley (Member # 22008) on :
I have too many to count...... I wish I could remember them
I take one 300 mg Rifampin. 5 seconds later... did I just take that pill?

Oh. Haley, I do that every day. Now which pill did I just take? Rifampin or Doxy?
That. and I constantly put the leftovers in the microwave instead of the fridge. Then I wonder what stinks in the kitchen the next day.

I write down EVERY pill that I put down EVERYDAY...no choice!! BUT I'm much better than I was so I'm hoping for more healing.... I haven't made it to the gluten free diet yet. I know doc is going to ask about that when I go in a couple of weeks...Yikes!

I have the same problem, and it's so annoying. I was sharp as a tack before this happened, but now I can't remember things from a few minutes ago. Sometimes I put items into the kitchen cabinets that should go back into the fridge (i.e. salad dressings, parmesan cheese) only to find them a couple days later and then they need to be thrown out. The loss of a mind is a terrible thing.
