Please pray for my friend's son and his family. They are vacationing in Egypt. I think they got there about the time all this got started several days ago.
He has two children with him, ages 12 and 14. My friend has been unable to contact his son by cell phone.
Please pray for their safety!

May God bless them and keep them safe. Whatever the reason is for the lack of cell communication, let it be lifted so he can have peace of mind. We pray in the the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen

I will pray for them! I really hope they are alright--that is so scary. I have been unable to contact somebody I met in Egypt myself who lives there. If it makes your friend feel any comfort, when I was in Egypt my cell did not work. It might be a lack of coverage. They Egyptian government also shut down the internet and any communication they can, so if his phone uses particular lines, that might be why it's not working, either. Let's pray that they are alright over there, and for all the Egyptians as well!

I have been watching Al Jazeera's live video in Egypt since this started. Apparently Al Jazeera's US viewership went up 50% since the protests began.
I hope for your friend's son's and family's safety and well being during this time. It must be very tough to be in that situation so far from other family and friends.

My friend's family is supposed to arrive at JFK tomorrow! Thanks for all the prayers!!
(I do know they made it to Tel Aviv yesterday.)
