My problem is my husband. Don't get me wrong he's a wonderful man and spoils me rotten . He works as a fisherman year round on the boat. But in the winter months he fishes off shore and is gone for 2-3 night trips. Then is home for about 5 days at a time.
It's hard when he is gone but I do have my sister and Mom helping out with our 2 young boys while he is away. I haven't worked since January. Now that I'm not working he doesn't understand why I'm still so tired and achy all the time.
He is always asking, Why don't you just get up an do something? or Do you want to take a ride with me? I just feel like screaming at him. NOOO!!!
Im not home because I feel like it or because I'm just being lazy. I'm sick and simply do not have the energy to be running around all day. He is driving me crazy!
He just doesn"t get it! Has anyone else had to deal with this?

YES.
It took me getting SUPER sick, crying and teling him if it weren't for the kids I would end my life because I do not want to go on this way...then he got a nasty flu going around and i said to him "How you feel now is how I feel ALL the time. The difference is YOU will get better in a week. I will not." It gave him some perspective...
Has he seen Under Our Skin?

Yes, i guess because people arent feeling what we're going thru on the inside they assume we're not that "sick" since we're still functioning properly...
