I have great days, pretty good days, not bad days and then once in a while a horrible day. Keep track of your symptoms in a journal. On the horrible days I look back at the great days for encouragement! So happy you had a good day Nicole, and you are right, "Never give up on God." Posted by merrygirl (Member # 12041) on :
Good to hear! But dont get discouraged if tomorrow is not as hood. Its a rollercoaster!
I agree that you should log your symptoms. The thing i found helpful is lyme log. There is a link to it on the lymefriends page top right side. It allows you to track symptoms and meds etc....it even gives you nifty grafts you ca print for your doctor.

Love those good days. Mine are far and few between.
Today is a horrible day for me, last week wasn't good but not bad. The darn depression and ear ringing is driving me to despair.
When I have good days I want them to last forever.

Yes, i definetly make sure i write down all my symptoms, sometimes its confusing to figure what made me feel so good that day, But i would love for the good days to last also.. But i know theres a day that we dont have to worry about those bad days anymore Posted by IndyColtsFan (Member # 30785) on :
Glad you had a good day! I have very few But my pain is under control a little bit better with the new med. Still having to take a fast-acting for breakthrough pain but not as much. I get very depressed also and mostly on weekends when I'm off work but don't feel like doing much. Always have at least 2 or 3 boys (teenage son!) hanging around and forever cooking! But that's my lonelinest time to because I have no partner in my life and fear I'll never meet anyone who would put up with the disease I have. So I understand the depression!

Yup I tend to have really really good days...like "OMG... I feel normal again". Like a kid in a candy store I use it all up too fast..
The bad days are not as bad and the good days are better then they have been in a long time.
I call them my moments or days of clarity. Sometimes when I have these days of clarity it brings tears to my eyes...because it reminds me that I have forgotten what it feels like to feel "normal".
I reflect on those good days when I am having a bad day. I wish many more good days to come your way...

Hi Nicole Nope, I never have a bad day and things are always perfect.
Hahhaahahaha! I am just kidding.
We are all human.
Of course we all have ups and downs. Take it easy my friend.
You are encouraging all of us by writing about your good days here and the journaling. Wonderful!
The journaling makes me think about this. If lyme is cyclical, I just wonder if....we douse ourselves with extra vitamin C (preferably in its natural whole food form, which robs the body of less vitamin K and also is best absorbed) if we could help ourselves to detoxify better and to be stronger during the down phases?
If we do milk thistle all along if that too would help to make the detoxing easier later on?
I just wonder if there are ways we can beef up to make ourselves stronger, that's all.
I know the Titanic ship could never be sunk so....what i am saying is that I know that health measures are never a guarantee.
But I do wonder if we can also make it easier on ourselves, with good diet and the right supplements.
Just a thought. (I am going to follow my own advice FYI. I started a milk thistle supplement and *did* notice an energy improvement fyi).
We are wishing you the best! And keep on being superhuman and perfect, hahahaha! Can't be done, so don't even try. Just be your human self and hug yourself for it!
