Found a steal of a deal on a one hour session in a float tank today. Anyone ever try this?
Supposed to be great for stress and pain reduction.
Just wondering if there is any reason not to try this, and if anyone has had any experience in one.
Thanks~

I think that usually the sessions are expensive, but it seems like a nice experience. The interesting advantage is that the liquid you're floating in is a concentrated bath of epsom salts, which are very good for some people with Lyme (and I think it might cause herxing and other issues for some others, but I don't know why or if that's actually true). Epsom Salts are magnesium sulfate, magnesium is an element we're often very deficient in, and it can be absorbed through the skin unlike most essential minerals, so floating in a bunch of it is probably helpful and I think a lot of doctors agree on that.
Randomly, I'm visiting Denver this week and was just talking to my friend here about float tanks, where is this deal?
