How many of you still work? I'm just about to the point of giving up and trying for disability. So overwhelmed right now. I can't keep up with work, my house, raising my son, and dealing with the medical issues and the draining finances. Feels like I'm loosing my mind and it's already foggy enough to affect even little things. I wouldn't even know where to begin trying to get on disability and I have no extra income to back me up while I'm waiting to see if I get it.

If you have an office job, is there any way they can let you work from home on your really bad days? I continued to work throughout and this is what got me through.

If I could have stayed at work I would have so suggesting trying to find ways to survive.
...At the time, i made enough money to hire someone to do the grocery shopping, household cleaning etc...wish I had done this.
...I also could have cut back on what I did at work.
...Should have had someone drive me to work
..I did go early and lay on couch in bathroom before getting into cart work provided to get me to my classroom.
I was not able to walk at the time
I had rented a scooter but it did not help.
later learned I needed a power chair
...One that reclined and had leg lifts to put my feet up
....Trying to think of other things to suggestions to help you
Maybe others will come alon with suggestions
I also took showers every day and put clean clothes on before going to work.
Learned that not all people do that and it does cut back on use of energy if you don't need a shower or bath every day
I still am not able to fold my clothes and put them away
Learned that those that are well don't fold and put clothes away so if you can let that go it would help too for a while
I guess what I am saying is try just doing the basics for now
