My daughter is looking a colleges for next fall. We are in central California and she would like to apply to a couple of places out of state, probably on the east coast.
She has congenital Lyme and is still IgM positive, though, very happily symptom free.
I was looking at the website for Cornell University in Ithaca, NY when it occurred to me that it is a bad region for Lyme, as I recall.
She wants an urban environment, which makes me worry less, but I know so little about the east coast. Can you help me identify the worst problem areas?
Chances are she will stay in California, or maybe Oregon, but I want to be informed.
