I just received "The Lyme Diet" yesterday..and read almost the whole thing(it's short). Very informational and points out multiple things that I was doing that was hindering my recovery. She does say it's ok for a glass of wine once a week. God, that would be nice.

the RIFE book might also be very practical for you. But, you would first - or concurrently - have to assess / address heavy metals. See next post for that.

You might also want to explore this site - and this clinic. Right in your very own town, well, right next to it in Dallas. For heavy metals, etc.
One LLMD who spoke at the ILADS conference in Oct. did VERY well here, personally and said it was instrumental to her being able to effectively get past lyme. The director has a splendid reputation.
While not treating lyme directly at this clinic, all the elements they do address, are all part of complete lyme treatment for many who with various kinds of sensitivities.
It can't hurt to go talk to them in person. -----------------------

Customer reviews at Amazon are very helpful when considering any book (or any item, for that matter).
Sometimes, you can take a look inside to selected pages of the book.
By checking the table of contents and key words in the index, that can also be a good guide to how the author might handle certain issues, or if something particular to your personal research is even included. -
