I thought I read somewhere where you can add Magnesium to your favorite lotion to give a little more help with detox. Has anyone heard of this? I take Magnesium (Rocksalt) Baths when it's really bad - before bed, but I thought this might be a plus.
Thanks! [hi]

As concentrated epson salts can be very irritating, even take off the outer layer of skin, I would not add epsom salts to any lotion (unless a tiny amount with directions from a tried and true source).

There is another way to get transdermal effects.

It's not really an oil but, for practical purposes, this term is used.

Search Google for: "magnesium oil"

Why and How to Use Magnesium Taurate

--------------------------------

Magnesium Taurate

Studies have revealed magnesium & the amino acid taurine have some interchangeable & potentiating roles.

Magnesium helps to regulate taurine & taurine can substitute for magnesium when magnesium is deficient. . . .

. . . One to two capsules can be opened under the tongue for more immediate effects with anxiety. . . .

. . . Both taurine & magnesium stabilize cell membranes, both exert sedative effects & inhibit the excitability of nerve cells throughout the central nervous system.* . . .
