If so, what kind of work did you find to do from home? I am a CNA. It has become very difficult some days to go to work. Thinking about trying something from home.
Any ideas of work from home jobs??

I had to quit my lifelong job of 40 years as an auto mechanic.
I havent been able to find anything I can do at home.
I looked at computer jobs and things like taking calls.
However I spell terribly so I can't do them jobs.

I keep thinking there must be something I can do that works around a chronic illness.
But, it has been 10 yrs and I still haven't come up with something.
Although I am improving, most days I am doing well to make sure i eat 3 meals a day and take the meds and supplements.
I would need something that is quiet to do. i find I can sit and ride in the power chair but that is limiting as how long i can be in it...around the block is a good day.
or sit and ride i the car...that too is limiting...being able to drive 3 miles to the forest edge is a good day.
This has messes with both my brain and physical ability.
I tried things like being a distributor for health products but that did not work for me...I know some do OK with this...but my guess is it is a small percentage that do well with that type of marketing.
I guess what I am saying is look at what you can do and maybe build from there.
We are all different in how lyme has effected us.
CNA work is tasking unless you get a job where you just need to be there for the person in their home.
Even at that...it would be too much for me.
I have seen people put up ads here at the apartment complex to sell things on ebay for people, clean homes, run errands, nurses have tried to start businesses as consultants, doing laundry for others, walking or dog sitting, etc.
None of those seem to take off here...I am guessing it is due to people not having the funds to pay for the service.

i had to retire from a job i loved. loved the job and hated some of the people.
i was very fortunate that i had my 30 years in and got a full retirement.
i don't think i could go to work anymore, let alone even at home.

Someone just told me about a website called elance.com. You can find work or hire someone from this website.
I started my own business 13 years ago at home doing Medical Billing and it's worked out great for me.
I can take on as many clients as I need. along with flexibility.

I work for two companies from home. Arise and liveops. I take orders for clients on the internet by phone. Works great for me. You can choose the hrs you want whenever you want. Works well for people who are housebound.
