Yes I am new to this and have felt very overwhelmed but it has been wonderful to come here and get support and answers from those on the same ride I am on. Thanks for all the great help and support

I think we all want to say you are WELCOME, but it makes us feel like we are taking "credit" for it.
We're so glad you have found your new "home!"

- I'm just glad you've not gone screaming into the woods after being tossed even the intro details about lyme. 'tis a very steep learning curve, this is. Very steep.
Never did I think after finally finishing college that I'd ever have to study so much again. But you are lucky at least to have internet.
When I was diagnosed ('97), the internet had not yet even been born ('98). It would be years more before I even got a computer. -

Keeb.. not quite right. I had internet service in '96.
But you are very correct that having had the internet while trying to get diagnosed would have been very helpful.
I never had the luxury of searching the internet for answers, but thank goodness I was diagnosed anyway and found Lymenet soon after being dxd with Lyme. A true lifesaver.

- Oh, yeah . . . fuzzy memory from those horrible days - there were some internet capabilities before Google started in September 1998.
I now recall some kinds of medical searches I did on computer at hospital patient libraries before then. Just not with Google and not as expansive.
