I finally felt that it's time to start sharing my story, with everyone in my fight with my health condition that's been going for 8 years now -
I have simply had enough from the doctors that are mostly unable to come with a proper diagnose, most of them even denying Lyme Disease as a chronic illness, whereas I feel sick most of the days.
Lyme has deteriorated my health both physically and mentally - and yet over 20 doctors have denied the possibility of having Lyme disease, at least in my country (Romania).
You can read about my journey from now on, and what I have learned about the disease on my site. Recognizing the illness, getting some proper testing and the right treatment is part of treating this illness, the most important aspect I believe that is - the right attitude and that is love sharing and positive thinking.
Thanks for sharing, Alexandru. Another sad story of a million about Lyme. Which could as well be Bartonella or another Coinfection. So it is good that you spread the truth about Lyme in your country and educate others. There's so much to do. I wish you a good therapy and a speedy recovery.

i can imagine the doctors over there are no different than here in the states. i guess the ignorance towards this illness spans the globe. don't give up. great job and you definitely aren't alone.

hi everyone,
I have been off for a little while, I'm also a member of several other forums, so my time is so short but I'd love to spend more time here.
@In19944
The doctors here in Romania are even worse than in the U.S. (they have no clue about Lyme disease) Only a few are starting to move their heads and document themselves on Lyme Disease.
The doctor that I have seen here in Romania, has worked all his life in Germany, where Lyme disease is recognized as a chronic illness and even the treatment is covered by the insurance companies. (that is why I'd love to be able to go to Germany).
