my muscles feel dead inside my back, chest, my rt arm.

yesterday I had alot of stabbing pains in my head on top on rt side and in the back on rt side.

short stabbing pains.

few hrs later....I started getting the symptoms where it feels like the muscle become hard inside.....like you can feel them sitting there in your body

where as before this I dont FEEL my muscles -if this makes sense.

They just feel stiff and I can just feel them there but no feeling to them.Like there dead.

This comes and goes throughout the month.
I dont know what else it can be,but I dont think this is from an infection.
I just feel like it is something else.
Not sure what-NEED some help figuring it out because I am literally feeling so much more depressed because of living all of this daily with no relief....no one to listen and say hey I know what this is.

Is it normal to completely lose feeling in your chest, rt arm and the whole back.

also, i dont sleep on my own and havent for years.

I have to have meds.when this particular symptoms happens.....I dont sleep either....the meds wont work, so I then get sicker from no sleep.

Today I dont feel sick sick....just dead feeling inside....no feeling in these muscles in chest, rt arm and my whole back

Yes, lyme can cause what you describe. But it may or may not be connected.

I assume you've seen a doctor about this since you say you have to have [pain?] meds. Also assume you've received no diagnosis or treatment options that make sense of this or work for you.

I assume you've been through the basics with a neurologist? Of course, most are not aware nor educated about what lyme can do.

Whatever the case, though, many questions can be answered in threads below. But, yes - indeed - this could be lyme. So I hope you can find a good LLMD for a proper assessment.

Good luck.

Replies should go over here, to this "twin" post in the Medical Forum. That way, they'll be together.
