really good article. I could understand it! DO WE THINK THIS IS PRETTY ACCURATE? It really explained the reason "tests don't work" better than anything I have ever read. and the also sets up the differences of opinion nicely.
I think this would be a good article to share with family and friends. Perhaps colleagues...(although I would just give people I work with the first 4 pages as I think they would roll their eyes on microwave exposure and cocktails)
thanks tutu!!!

I think most of it is probably accurate.

This was enough to depress me. I don't know what to do or where to turn. We are paying a lot of money to travel and see a GREAT doctor, but he doesn't believe in all of this. He just believes in abx.
My DD is getting worse instead of better. I just want to cry.

Just do what you can, kids. Maybe you can implement a few of Dr K's ideas that sound reasonable to you.

Dr K's treatment - from the article cited above: (I split this up to make easier reading.) " To mitigate microwave radiation, Dr. K recommends shielding your home with a graphite paint called Y Shield outside, and use special silver-coated cloth for your curtains.
These measures will compromise your ability to receive cell phone calls, so depending on your situation, you may opt to shield just your bedroom, or shield your entire home and just use a landline.
All cordless telephones are removed, and patients are instructed to turn off all the fuses at night, until they have recovered from Lyme disease.
Next, the emotional component of the disease is addressed using Energy Psychology tools, including psychokinesiology (PK) which is similar to the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), but more refined and advanced."
Huh?

I don't think I'll be doing any of those things.

I'm with Ann on the Huh? Thought EFT was abandoned long ago as a treatment.
Kidsgotlyme--I feel your pain. I just want to cry too.
