Well I've made it through 9 days of 250mg of Levofloxacin for suspected Bartonella co-infection. I'm experiencing herx of aching, swelling wrists (one of which has previous fractures) aching and swelling of ankles, sore feet especially bottoms, especially tighter and more tense shoulders and neck pain, severe but quickly fleeting shooting pains in left abs and various areas like a spider bite pain. Knees are pretty sore on inner sides as well, ears and glands in neck sore. I had previously colonies of bumps under skin mostly on top of thighs and still have. I'm scared about the tendon rupture warnings on this abx but have increased my magnesium to 1,000mg a day, but have yet to up my Vit C, which would probably be a good idea. I wonder if a tendon is particularly stressed to a point of possible rupture if you would actually have no use of that limb with overwhelming pain or how you would know ??? silly question probably. Take care of YOU all Posted by Lymetoo (Member # 743) on :
Be careful even AFTER stopping the drug. Your tendons will be vulnerable.
