Got any LOW sugar recipes?? I ordered some protein powder and hope to do something with kale and spinach.

I also have a juicer, so if you have recipes for that, I'm here!!! I just threw everything into the juicer the other day and it was great!!

THANKS!! [Smile]

you know over the holidays i ended up with too many veggies and couldnt get them all cooked so i made broccoli into a soup...and froze it. it ended up being really good and for a long time i had a cup of broccoli soup everyday...it had carrots and celery and other stuff init. i dont have the recipe handy...im in a mess...but i bet you could just go online

you probably want raw...but cooked broccoli is good for you too, right? broccoli and blueberries are 2 foods i am supposed to eat every day for my muscles

Soup is fine as long as it doesn't contain dairy. Most broccoli soup has cheese. YUM!!!!

yeah, I made a whatever in my blender... it had parsley, celery, carrot, water, kale .. Wasn't very good. I had to add stevia just to get it down.

I prefer juicing!

Be careful if you use large amounts of RAW veggies in the cabbage and broccoli family frequently. They can suppress your thyroid. Eating them cooked greatly reduces the impact on the thyroid.

Sorry I don't have blender or any recipes to contribute. I accidentally clicked on this thread and thought I might see what good stuff you all have posted [Smile]

Thanks for the tip, sammy! I never heard that before. I really don't like raw broccoli nor cabbage. I eat them occasionally.

Someone suggested "Christina Cooks" so I'll have to go there to see.

Two scoops road killed possum.

One teaspoon sail rabbit.

one pint water.

Season to taste.

Hit the puree button.

Sail rabbit is the ones that got ran over hundreds of times and layed in the hot sun on the road. They are real thin and dried up. Just peel them off the blacktop and throw them like frizebees,They just sail through the air so nice.

Then bring them in for seasoning.

I like this site as you can type in what ingredients you have and recipes will come up.

I typed in blender. You can most likely type blender plus whatever ingredients you want to use.
Happy blending. Don't get your tutu caught in the blades. [Eek!]

I may adjust this one:

1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.)
1/2 cup fresh spinach
1 cup fat-free milk
splenda or stevia, to taste
Serves 1

Place milk in the blender, then place the remaining ingredients in the blender and mix until the ingredients are smooth. Enjoy.
